Our team provides respectful assistance with daily routines and personal care while encouraging residents to remain involved in the activities and relationships that matter to them.
Dementia can affect every person differently. Our approach is centred around familiarity, consistency, meaningful activity and understanding the individual behind the diagnosis. We aim to create an environment where residents feel safe, respected and supported, and where families remain an important part of their lives.
Short-term care can provide reassurance when families need additional support. This may be appropriate following a period in hospital, during a change of circumstances, or where a family carer needs time to rest.
Person-centred care
Our care plans are developed around each resident as an individual. We take time to understand their health, routines, preferences, interests, relationships and aspirations.
Families are encouraged to share the information that helps us understand the person behind the care needs, and plans are reviewed regularly as needs change.
